According to new research, parents of young children question their parenting skills an average of three times per week. A survey of 2,000 American parents with kids 11 and under uncovered the common struggles and surprises they face in raising their families. The study revealed that parents feel like “bad” parents 156 times annually. While their children make them laugh 12 times daily, respondents admitted needing breaks twice weekly. Top challenges included financial pressures, lack of personal time, and work-life balance. Generational divides emerged, with Gen X and Millennials more likely than Gen Z to find parenthood more demanding than expected. Many parents, especially Gen Z, keep their frustrations private to avoid perceived judgment from loved ones. (Talkerresearch)
