A recent study has challenged the belief that eggs raise bad-cholesterol levels, presenting a different perspective on the impact of this breakfast staple. Researchers discovered that individuals who consumed two eggs daily experienced a decrease in their LDL cholesterol levels, provided their overall diet was low in saturated fat. The study highlighted that saturated fat in one’s diet had a more significant influence on cholesterol levels than the cholesterol found in eggs. The research emphasized the importance of maintaining a balanced diet and monitoring saturated fat intake for heart health, rather than focusing solely on egg consumption. (Upi)
