A recent survey of 2,000 U.S. car owners revealed that 90% feel fondness for their vehicles, with 40% admitting to loving them. Over 21% have even given their cars names like “Big Bertha” and “Purrrsilla.” The study, conducted by Talker Research for Ziebart, showed that the average person associates 11 major life milestones with their current car. Respondents shared impactful memories, from road trips to teaching loved ones to drive. Nearly half of participants consider their current vehicle their “forever car.” To extend their car’s lifespan, 46% have increased maintenance efforts, focusing on interior and exterior cleaning, tire and oil checks, and regular tune-ups.
