Top priorities include a quiet neighborhood, ample natural light, and a driveway, along with a garage, secure fencing, and reliable mobile coverage. Respondents also cited the need for a dedicated home office space and a downstairs restroom, as well as proximity to stores and restaurants. Notably, half of those polled indicated that a home’s eco-friendly credentials, such as an electric vehicle (EV) charger, are an important consideration. This aligns with the finding that 40% of EV drivers said access to EV charging would influence their home-buying decision, and 54% wished property listings included this information.
