According to a survey of 2,000 men, the average male has maintained the same hairstyle for over 10 years. The poll found they typically solidified their cut at age 31, with short back and sides (35%) and buzzcuts (16%) being the most common styles. Additionally, 7% sport an “alpaca back and sides” – a look particularly favored by 25-34-year-olds. Many men cited a lack of confidence and concern about others’ opinions as reasons for not changing their hair. However, 23% said they would be likely to try the alpaca style, drawn to its perceived coolness and suitability. While hair is the area they’re least open to experimenting with, 33% would consider a new look with a stylist’s guidance, especially after major life changes. (Talkingpoints)
