A recent survey by Talker Research revealed that one in three Americans affectionately nickname their cars. Gen X and millennials are more likely to name their vehicles, with over 40% of each group doing so. Boomers, on the other hand, are less inclined to give their cars nicknames. The survey also highlighted trends in car names, with references to pop culture icons like Batmobile and The Millennium Falcon. Additionally, some drivers opt for powerful names such as Beast or animal-themed names like Party Chicken. Interestingly, 12% of Americans believe that cars have feelings, with younger generations more likely to anthropomorphize their vehicles. (Talkerresearch)
