A recent survey of 2,000 adults who celebrate Christmas found that 36% have begun budgeting for the upcoming holiday season, despite it being six months away. Financial plans include saving supermarket loyalty points, using cashback apps, shopping in sales, and buying in bulk to ensure extra funds for Christmas 2025. Some started planning as early as January. Forward planning is favored by 79% to manage festive expenses. Additionally, 36% are preparing for winter bills by saving in advance.
