A recent survey of 2,000 Americans commissioned by Avocado Green Mattress found that 38% of respondents consider themselves “bad” at mornings. On average, participants reported getting out of bed later than planned eight times a month, with some exceeding 20 times. Skipping breakfast was common (41%), along with neglecting personal hygiene like showering (16%) and brushing teeth (11%). Less than half (43%) use alarms to wake up, with the first alarm going off at 6:33 a.m. Younger generations rely more on alarms, with 63% of Gen Z and millennials using them compared to just 19% of baby boomers. Night owls were more likely to struggle with getting out of bed on time and reported needing more sleep than they currently get. (Talkerresearch)
