Morgan Wallen has just notched his 12th No. 1 single on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with “Cowgirls,” his hit collaboration with ERNEST. Wallen’s 12th chart-topper now puts him ahead of his fellow country superstar, Luke Combs, becoming the artist with the most Billboard Country Airplay No. 1s so far this decade. The trap-influenced “Cowgirls” is taken from Wallen’s 2023 record-setting Billboard No. 1 album, One Thing At A Time, which has now spawned seven chart-topping hits from that collection alone. Combs has had 11 No. 1 country hits this decade, with seven of them coming from his 2020 chart-topping album, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get. Combs’ album set the previous record for most No. 1 country hits from the same album, a feat that Wallen has now tied with his seven No.1s from One Thing At A Time. (Holler)
