The crew of a NASA mission simulating a voyage to Mars completed a yearlong confinement inside a simulated Mars environment at Johnson Space Center in Houston. The four members focused on establishing conditions for future Mars operations through spacewalks and growing vegetables. Two additional missions are planned to gather health and performance data. Two inmates held on murder charges in Mississippi have been recaptured after they escaped from jail by climbing through a ceiling panel in a common area, rappelling to the ground with bedsheets. Deputies found them the following morning in an abandoned house. They will face additional charges carrying up to five years in jail. (UPI)
