Firerose Claims Billy Ray Cyrus Was Still Married When They Started Dating

In a new interview with Page Six, Billy Ray Cyrus’ estranged wife, Firerose, claims that the country star was still married to Tish when they first started dating. “Every day he told me, ‘I’m getting divorced,’ but he said it was complicated because of the kids, and they had been married for so long,” Firerose revealed. “I just accepted everything he told me to be true.” Firerose says that they began dating shortly before the release of their April 2021 duet, “A New Day,” but claims that Cyrus asked her to keep their relationship a secret. A year later, Cyrus and Tish announced they were getting a divorce, which came as a shock to Firerose because she was under the impression that their marriage was already over. “I would never, ever have entered into a relationship with a married man, but he was such a great manipulator,” Firerose says.
